In May 1984 Kiki & George Demosthenes opened the Hillside Manor Restaurant with the hopes of emulating the great Mediterranean tradition of hospitality and quality at the table and in the glass which they left behind in their native Greece. By 1987 the restaurant’s popularity merited the addition of several banquet halls to accommodate guests who were looking to hold lavish affairs and special events. Now celebrating its 26th year in business, the Hillside Manor has maintained its reputation for good food and exceptional value. Currently operated by a second generation of Demosthenes, Kiki & George’s three sons continue to offer wonderful dining experiences with attentive service in a sophisticated and fun atmosphere. Oldest brother Denni oversees the business as General Manager, Executive Chef Deno is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and youngest son Jim serves as Senior Partner and Events Coordinator.
The Hillside Manor is situated in Historic Kingston, NY. Nestled between the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains, we are located mid-way between New York City and the State Capitol of Albany. We are also conveniently located 3 miles from the New York State Thruway and within an hour’s drive of two New York airports.
